It’s been a while since I had fresh flowers in the house.
That’s not because I don’t love them, I do! But when you’re knee-deep in the final phase of a home remodel, flowers tend to fall off the priority list. Between tools, dust, and piles of things to sort, a vase of roses just doesn’t fit the mood.
But now?
Now I have fresh flowers everywhere.
Because we did it.
We finished the last part of our fixer-upper remodel and officially moved back in over the holidays.
Cue the flowers. Cue the joy. Cue the deep sigh of relief.
Fresh Flowers, Fresh Start
This weekend, I finally cleared off most of the lingering piles, papers, tools, random cords, and started giving things real homes again.
(But let’s be honest… don’t go peeking into drawers or cabinets just yet. That’s a project for another day 😉)
Right now, I’m celebrating.
With flowers.
All over the house.
Laundry Room
Who knew a laundry room could make you smile? A simple vase of blooms reminds me that this space is finally finished and actually functional.
Kitchen
The heart of our home. Cooking, cleaning, and just being in this space feel lighter with fresh flowers on the counter. It’s the little things that mark the shift from construction zone to cozy.
Living Room
This room saw plenty of mess, chaos, and dust. Now? The flowers here feel like a deep breath. A soft “you made it” kind of moment.
Office
This little bouquet greets me every time I sit down to work. It’s a reminder that yes, progress happens. Projects do end.
Bathroom
Yes, even the bathroom got flowers. Because why not? After everything we’ve done, it deserves a little beauty too.
Why I Celebrate with Flowers
One of my favorite places to buy affordable fresh flowers is Market Street. The store near me gets new blooms every Monday, and if I grab them early, they last nearly two weeks.
For me, bringing home fresh flowers is more than just a habit. It’s a symbol.
It means the remodel is truly finished.
It marks the moment the house becomes a home again.
Remodeling is Hard. Celebrating Matters.
If you’ve been through a renovation, or you’re living in the middle of one, you know how exhausting it is.
Physically. Mentally. Emotionally.
You make a thousand tiny decisions.
You live in a mess for longer than you thought possible.
You navigate delays, budgets, and unexpected surprises.
And then it’s done.
But here’s the thing:
Don’t just move on.
Pause. Celebrate. Take it in.
Whether that’s with fresh flowers, a special dinner, a quiet morning coffee in your new space, or simply standing in the middle of the room and whispering, “We did it.”
That moment matters.
💬 Your Turn: How Do You Celebrate?
I’d love to hear from you!
How do you mark a big milestone, especially after a long project or renovation?
Leave a comment and share your ideas. You might inspire someone else who’s still deep in the dust and drywall of their own remodel.
Because Triumph deserves to be celebrated.
And if you’re still in the messy middle?
Keep going. You’ll get there.
You’ve got this.

So beautiful! Flowers make a great celebration. I can’t wait to see your remodel!
Thank you Susan
